2.  The Agenda for the meeting was to review the NHS and CAS process and requirements.  You can download a CAS Guide here.  CASGuide.  (Parents, this will answer a lot of your questions.)

3.  Use the break to get caught up on counting hours and writing reflections.   You may submit them at any time!

PS If you’ve got questions come see me!  I will be updating the blog and checking email routinely over the break.

We Should All Be Very Proud of the CO Family!!

Wow!

The volunteer hours and reflections came flooding in over the last few days and they’re not stopping!  The impact you have made is amazing.  I would like to invite you to click on the link of someone from the Charter Oak family above and read through what everyone is learning and experiencing.  There are a ton more reflections that will be added in the coming days.

(I can’t wait to start  sharing some of the stories of dedication and hard work over the break….)

Next week we will be meeting to answer questions about NHS, CAS and exactly what you should or shouldn’t be doing.  If you feel like you’re behind or confused just stop by F8 or C1 and I’ll get you caught up, no worries.  Here’s my email address:  clong@cousd.net

From now on all CAS and NHS hours can be submitted through the link above that says “Submit CAS and NHS Hours and Reflections.”  It will always be there.  (FYI, beginning today you will be required to submit the contact information of someone who can verify your hours.)

I will post meeting dates and times over the weekend, stay tuned…..
